I first met Dr. Melissa while she was working at another veterinary clinic. I choose to drive out to Copetown (35 minutes) because I wouldn't trust anyone else with my senior pet rabbit. She's extremely attentive, thorough, and an amazing veterinarian. You can really tell how much she cares when caring for my pet bunny and I'm extremely appreciative of that. The vet that I have the most contact with is Dr. Mulder and his desire to provide optimal care to your beloved pet remains his first priority. While doing so, he exhibits qualities such as genuine concern, honesty and integrity. I can guarantee you that his vast knowledge and high level of education combined with sincerity, patience and a gentle, loving manner is everything that I look for in a Vet. He is diligent without causing additional stress and anxiety to the animal or any fret and concern to you, the client. I have recommended FAIRVIEW DRIVE PET HOSPITAL to several people and they have confirmed that all of my claims regarding Dr. Mulder, the staff and pet hospital are accurate and valid. I have been using Mountain Animal Hospital for three years and I love these vets! Each of them and their team. They know my babies, they understand my budget concerns (with five pets, it does become a concern), and do what they can to make my critters enjoy their visits. My dog actually wags her tail here (a first at a vet clinic), my older cat doesn't hiss at them (good for her, opinionated as she is), and my youngest will love and take treats even when she knows she's at the doctor's. When discussing my pets and their care, these vets listen and understand my concerns and my expertise with my babies. My littlest had to have surgery to remove a ruptured eye and recovered beautifully! Within hours of being home, she demanded to be back with the family. No backlash from this surgery or her spay. These vets will truly take care of your critters and do some in a fashion that is respectful of you as their human parents. Read more

We have taken our cats here for many years and been very pleased with the staffs handling of checkups, emergencies and needles. But today I was completely blown away: our cat went missing back in April and I had called to see if he was there. They took my info and said they would be in touch if he turned up. Well I received that call 4 months later! We are ecstatic to have our little guy back and it's all thanks to the mystery family we assume took him in when he went missing, they nice lady who found him in the park and the clinic staff who were caring and thorough enough to look through their records before sending him off to a shelter.
