I've been to this restaurant a number of times. They have some very good deals for lunch. The restaurant used to be run by an old Korean couple. The entire menu is uniquely Korean. They have a great Dolsot Bibimbap (mixed vegetables, shredded meat and a fried egg in a stone bowl). My favourite dish is the Chicken Dupbap (a teriyaki style chicken on a bed of rice). Their Mandu is also quite nice. Lunch comes with soup, salad, a few small side dishes, the main dish and usually an orange for $6.99. Read more

Great Italian Restaurant! My mom, aunt and I had spent all day shopping for a mother of the bride dress, so this place was recommended to us by the owner of a bridal store. The decor of Fusaro's is very nice and modern, and the atmosphere is relaxing. I ordered the breakfast wrap which was the best I have ever had! My aunt had the calabrese, and my mom ordered cinque panini, and they both thoroughly enjoyed their meals. The prices are very inexpensive. Three meals and coffee for each us came to only $30. I first visited Allen's back in the 80's, not long after it opened, and I was instantly smitten. So much so, in fact that I moved into the neighbourhood! First I was a regular, then a nuisance, and finally a piece of furniture. I finally moved back to Markham in 1998, and cannot justify going anywhere south of Steeles Avenue without stopping into Allen's for lunch. The food is imaginative, superbly prepared, and so delicious, that even when I'm full, I often look at the menu again, just to see what I'll be ordering on my next visit! And the patio? So based on reviews I decided to try Big Smoke Burger, (formerly Craft Burger) at their King East location. The burger was awesome. One of the best burgers I've ever had. On a whim on a perfect day this summer, I found myself on Center Island with a delightful 2-person-bike rental. My companion and I biked to Ward Island and stumbled upon this little gem of a cafe. We sat on the backyard patio and it was a brilliant sight. Perfectly tree-shaded area with a gentle breeze to set off your view of the lovely garden and the lake behind it. The service was good: warm and attentive. The food was nicely done, and I enjoyed my salad (very filling) and chatting in the pleasant surroundings. This is a perfect place to stop for a break, a light meal or a cool drink on a warm day. I will definitely check back upon returning to The Island. Read more

When I crave very hot wings this is where I go. By far one of the hottest wings in town. I usually order the "death" or "armageddon" sause depending on my mood. I have noticed that the degree of how spicey the wings are can vary on any given day. My only gripe about this joint is that they have the shoe string fries & I personally like the thick cut fries to compliment my wings. As a man who has been chompin on wings for over 20 years, this place is one of my favorites. The service is decent & the place looks clean.
