Jun Sushi has been one of Kitsilano’s favourite sushi spots for more than 15 years. The menu features standard rolls and appetizers alongside some chef’s specialties such as the Vancouver Roll stuffed with prawn and yam tempura, with mango and avocado on top. The signature Jun Special roll (available in a half or full order) is a meaty marvel with tuna, salmon, scallop, crabmeat, oshinko, avocado, cucumber and fish roe. The restaurant delivers from 5:00 pm onwards and will do it for free within a five-kilometer radius of its Broadway location.

We love this Riley Park sushi restaurant for its creative selection of rolls and easy-to-use ordering system. The online menu features lots of colourful photos depicting various options: donburi, tempura, temaki, stir-fried noodles, sashimi, udon, nigiri, ramen and premium rolls made with white or brown rice. We love the Kentucky Roll, a Southern-inspired deep-fried chicken roll with avocado, cucumber and lettuce, topped with potato crisps and tobiko. This alternative sushi spot offers low-carb rolls (made without rice), organic gluten-free quinoa sushi cones, and soybean wraps in addition to the traditional nori seaweed wraps. Delivery is available seven days a week and is free if you live in Olympic Village and order via phone (minimum $30). Sushi Q also offers black rice for most menu items and boasts a nice selection of healthful salad options; we love the fresh and flavourful seared tuna and avocado salad.
