Cariboo Bob's Plumbing & Heating

Bob provided a false WETT report for a house I planned to buy. He claimed the wood boiler was 50 feet from the house and lawn, it was actually on the lawn 36 feet from the house, 4 feet from a wood shed, & 43 feet from a shop. Because of this, I couldn’t legally secure insurance. The owner’s response was to rely on the false report or say, ‘Oh well.’ The property was eventually sold to someone willing to commit insurance fraud. If you’re okay with risking everything in a fire, use cariboo bob!

Quick to get back to me and make an appointment, knowledgeable,friendly and professional. Wett inspection was nice and easy.I was happily surprised with the price.

I would give this guy a zero rating but that was not an option. Do yourself a favour and save yourself from a huge headache. Do not....and I repeat DO NOT use this company for anything. Terrible workmanship...ignores the rules of the trade and cuts corners wherever he can get away with it. If he has done work and you have a problem..forget it..you will never hear from him again plus he refuses to return his phone calls. Absolutely the worst service you could imagine. Stay clear,do your research.

I called and made an appointment for Bob to come and do an estimate. I got a call from Wife/receptionist saying that they would call me back with an ETA that night and that as it stands the next day at 10:30am he would be there. So no phone call, I called them back, I called them the next day and left a message no response. I was at work and asked my parents to be at my place till he showed up. This guy did not show!!! Unprofesional, wasted my time and my parents who had better things to do

Bob did a good job assessing the chimney and doing the wet tests. Going to call him again to reinspect after raising the house. Reasonable prices.

Stay away! This rude guy overcharged me to install a new chimney that leaked water and was not high enough to clear my peak of house . Had to get it all redone.

There needs to be more Bob's. He is very reasonable in his pricing and provides the best recommendations and gets the job done right the first time. He was able to fix the ongoing problem of my wood stove pipe that no one else was able to figure out. Thanks Bob!!
