Vegetarians Beware!

I am very displeased with my experience at JF Chen. I ordered vegetarian spring rolls - and even asked if the spring rolls were free of fish and meat - they assured me that they were. However when I bit into my veggie roll at home I found a piece of beef! Very disappointed with my discovery I called the restaurant only to be rudely spoken to and disregarded due to them being busy with another customers problem.. I will never return to a place that does not know what is being put into their food nor do they care about customer satisfaction.

Best Chinese Food in Town

My husband and I always order from JF Chen, and JF Chen only. The food is absoutely the best we've ever had, and that's coming from my husband who is also a chef. They don't use MSG so their food is ALWAYS fresh and tasty. They do not over compensate with salt either. We've tried numerous differnt dishes and have ordered some combos. My favorite by far is the Sesame Chicken. They don't put their chicken balls in mounds of dough which is a nice change from most restaurants. You really do get what you pay for, and there is always a ton of left overs. It's even worth spending $26 dollars and picking up your own food so you can enjoy a free dish, I reccomend the Jar du wings! Hands down, best chinese in Guelph, we've been to pretty much all of them and nothing compares! I have never been to sit down and eat, it's not really a restaurant, more of a take out place!

Great chinese in Guelph

We had a combo for 3 with extra soup and an extra chicken dish. The food was great. The chicken balls were smaller but they were all white meat with very little breading. The food was not greasy at all. The beef with broccoli had thin pieces of tender beef and crispy green broccoli. The food was delivered sooner than they promised, and it was all very good. The leftovers were very good as well.

DONT DO IT!!!

I tried it for the first time and order the combo 6: Sweet and Sour Chicken= TINY chicken balls Chicken Fried Rice= TERRIBLE very greasy Beef and Broccoli= very fatty and everything taste like thick gravy! I ordered so dont know what the atmosphere is like

The worst EVER

We ordered delivery having just moved to the neighbourhood. What we got was the worst food I had ever tasted. It was just completely off and didn't even resemble the tastes of Asia. I tasted Worchester sauce in one dish. OMG never again.
