Mekong Restaurant invites you to their establishment. They are open nightly Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday and during week-ends and are positioned in an area packed with stores.
Beware there is a limited menu and wait staff, and the decore is what you'd expect of a Vietnamese resteraunt in the hub.
This being said, Vietnamese classics like curry, pho, spring rolls, and vermacelli are done to perfection. The spring rolls are crispy, the greens are fresh, and almost everything comes with some fish sauce. Easily the best vietnamese in town I've tried (which is about half of the them).
This was my second time eating here. We ordered take out and it only took 15 minutes. The price is great and the taste and quality of the food is excellent. At first I thought my regular sized # 12 wasn't going to be enough, but I was stuffed. Every one really enjoyed their meals.

My friends and I go to this restaurant when ever we're all together. It's our collective favorite place to eat in Kingston. We usually have anywhere from 3-6 of us there, and we never wait more than 20 minutes MAX, and we've been at all times through the day.
ALTHOUGH, I will say, takeout and delivery are less awesome. The food gets that Styrofoam-y taste.

I came here for Vietnamese food. Specifically, I was looking for some good pho noodles. What I got was some great noodles. $7.95 for a large bowl of noodles filled with beef. Appropriate sauces on the table: hoisin and chili sauce.

I asked twice for hoisen sauce and she didn't give it to me but told me it was in the bag. That was probably my tenth time ordering the same take-out order from there so i know they NEVER put hoisen sauce in the bag unless you ask. Disappointing.
