so tasty

I never really thought much of burritos until I tried one from burrito boyz. The halibut burrito is one of my favourite foods now. Be warned though, the hot sauce is very spicy.

Overrated.

(Disregard my previous review as it is for the Port Credit location!) Having visited the Mississauga locations, I had high expectations on the downtown one. I find the 905 ones very BLAND. If you order a Chicken Burrito, they use minced chicken which doesn't taste seasoned at all! Anyway, my sis suggested that I order the Halibut. Between ordering --> called to get my toppings --> burrito was finally ready was quite some time. I realise that it's not McDonald's, but the place wasn't that busy - maybe a coupla people were waiting for their orders ahead of me. As for the halibut, I expected flaky pieces of white fish, but what I got was a small piece of High Liner! I have made better fish tacos, from scratch with baja sauce, for half the cost. In between the meh-rice, I was barely able to taste the fish! The tacos were edible, but not the best that I have tasted. (If you're in the West-end, check out El Sombrero which is by far better!) I guess I just expected more. Judging by how busy this place apparently gets, it's definitely over-hyped!

I love burrito boys! There is a reason why this place is always packed with people. I usually get a small shrimp with everything on it, but the chicken and halibut are great too and you have the option to mix! It's tasty, filling and affordable, as well as a healthier alternative than other take out.

Slowest burritos

40 minutes for a burrito. They wouldn't give me a refund and asked if it was my first time there, as if I should have known it would take that long.
